Caught on cam: Northeast woman abducted, molested in Bengaluru

In yet another shocking incident of crime against Northeast women, a 25-yr-old woman from Manipur (as reported by the media) was abducted by an unidentified man while she was standing outside her PG accommodation in Bengaluru. The 25-year-old woman works at a beauty clinic in Bengaluru’s Kalyan Nagar area.

The CCTV video footage shows the man walking up to the unsuspecting woman, grabbing her from behind and carrying her to a secluded spot, where she was allegedly molested by the accused. The woman was talking on the phone when the horrific incident took place.

What’s more shocking is that the police took no action against the accused and even refused to register a complaint in her case. The cops eventually registered a case after the woman was forced to produce the CCTV footage.

What’s even worse to comprehend is the fact that people nearby were not helping her even if she was screaming for help. The CCTV footage clearly shows people walking the same street from where the woman was abducted but nobody came forward to help her.

The brave NE girl not only fought with the guy and freed herself, but also approach the police to register a complaint! Brave girl indeed!
