John & Michael visit underprivileged children in Dimapur

Dimapur: John W. Schlitt and Michael Hill on Tuesday dropped in at the Underprivileged Tribal Children Home (UTCH) and school of music at Padampukhuri.

The duo was also given a warm traditional welcome with folk song sung by the youth of Lotha Baptist Church, Purana Bazar at the premises of school of music and the only word John exclaimed was ‘wow!’

John while interacting with media persons raved about local band ‘DivineConnection’. He was impressed with the band and candidly said he wished to take them to Nashville and produce an album. Earlier, John W. Schlitt was scheduled to perform in India in 2011. However, John said the tour was postponed due to visa and other related problems.

John W. Schlitt and Michael Hill will be performing today accompanied by DivineConnection. Alo Wanth band and Renbeni Odyuo would also be performing on stage.
